Last week, Judy, Cathy ( the owners of Sea Largo Cottage) and Judy’s 94 year old mom, Virginia and I went out with Captain Rene of SunDial Charters. Another gorgeous day of enjoying the water, Little Tybee and the marshes. Captain Rene is a wealth of knowledge about the nature and beauty which surrounds us here on the island. One interesting point of interest- while dogs are not allowed on Tybee Island beaches, dogs are allowed on Little Tybee which is a protected , wild barrier island. Dogs need to be controlled ( we need to be careful and protect the sea turtle nests,) but if you do go to Little Tybee ( only accessible via a boat or kayak) your dogs are welcome .
